Boost Africa believes that education fights crime and poverty.
Many children in poor communities drop out of school because their parents cannot afford school fees, a school uniform, food and stationery. We provide these basic requirements for children to attend school. This project is named Keep a Child in School. Find out more about the KACIS program.
Boost Africa further believes in quality education. Enrollment to public school does not guarantee that children become educated adults. A loving and nurturing environment is a critical factor in how children cope with issues such as violence, crime, educational success and mental health.
You easily find 12-year-old children who have been attending school and still cannot properly read, write or do simple math. This results due to a lack of resources to provide these children with a quality education. The illiteracy and innumeracy of children in the poor South-African communities are shockingly high.
We therefore aim to provide the necessary resources for educational programs at our after school programs and wish to establish a sustainable educational support learning centre that will benefit the community at large. Read more about our future initiatives.
